Summary

1in8B has no accounts and is built not to ask for your name or contact details. This page lists everything the site handles, why, and where it is kept. Effective: October 20, 2026.

On your device

Your current life, past lives, diary notes, settings and this site's analytics preference are stored in your browser (local storage). They never leave your device on their own and disappear when you clear the site's data in your browser.

Sent only when you choose

Share links: choosing a text or link share saves only that life's name, country and age on our server to build a preview link — never diaries, choices or progress. Cloud Life Keep: if you buy it, your email address, a keep key and the records of the completed lives you choose to keep are stored so you can restore them; the payment is processed by Polar and card details never reach us. Card images and videos are created on your device.

Usage analytics

We measure anonymous usage with Google Analytics 4: page views and a small set of game events (a life begins or ends, shares, videos). Your game state is never sent. You can turn analytics off with the switch in the “Analytics privacy” section on the homepage; the choice is remembered on this device.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google (AdSense). Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and read partners'privacy at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Hosting and server logs

The site and its services are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the service.

Retention

Local data stays until you clear it. Share-link records and Cloud Life Keep records stay until you delete them or ask us to remove them. The email used for Cloud Life Keep is kept while the entitlement is active.

Your choices and contact

Clear this site's data in your browser at any time, turn analytics off on the homepage, and use Google's ads settings for ad personalization. For questions, deletions or anything else, write to [email protected].
